Takeover: Green Wind Now Also Active in the Danish Wind Market

Berlin, Germany – The German Green Wind Group from Berlin has taken over the Danish companies Ecopartner ApS in Aarhus and FWE Administration ApS in Copenhagen. Green Wind is now supplementing its existing portfolio with more than 150 megawatts (MW) at around 25 locations in technical and commercial operations management. Green Wind currently manages more than 550 MW in onshore operations in Germany and Denmark.

The independent company also specializes in project development for the repowering of old plants and in the offshore area for maintenance management for wind turbines and converter platforms. Danish projects will also be supported by a modern 24/7 control center greenwind control.

Today's Green Wind Group is based on parts of the Danish publicly traded company Green Wind, which was acquired in 2011 by Green Wind managing directors Manuell Lasse and Martin Kühle. At the Berlin location, Green Wind has been built up with new structures to become a medium-sized, highly specialized provider. Currently, Green Wind provides work for about 40 people in Germany and in Denmark.
