Wind Market India: Suzlon Secures further Order For 3 MW Series Turbines From Juniper Green Energy Private Limited

Pune, India - The Indian wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon has received an order for a wind farm project with a total capacity of 72.45 megawatts from the Indian energy producer and operator of solar, wind and hybrid power projects Juniper Green Energy Private Limited.

The site of the planned wind farm is located in Dwarka district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Suzlon will supply 23 wind turbines with a capacity of 3.15 MW as part of the agreement. The contract also provides for the erection and commissioning of the turbines by Suzlon. The company will also be responsible for operation and maintenance work after commissioning.

As of the end of 2023, Suzlon wind turbines with a total capacity of 20,500 MW (20.5 GW) were in operation in 17 countries worldwide. As a vertically integrated company with its own research and development (R&D) centers in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and India, Suzlon has production facilities at several locations in India. The Group employs more than 6,300 people.
