wpd ensures credits for wind parks in Croatia

Bremen, Germany - The wpd AG announced that it has signed a credit contract for the wind park Ponikve, about 45 km North-East of the Croatian port of Dubrovnik. According to the company, the 45 M Euro-project is being financed in co-operation with the KfW IPEX-Bank as well as with the KfW program of renewable energies.

wpd plans to erect nine Enercon E-70 plants, each with a capacity of 2.3 MW at a hub height of 64 m at the wind park Ponikve as well as seven plants of the same type at a hub height of 85 m. The network connection for 34 MW has already been guaranteed. The plants are delivered in spring 2012 and the grid connection is scheduled for the third quarter.
