Enercon Wind Turbines: Energiequelle Sells French Wind Farm

Broons, France - Energiequelle GmbH has sold the French wind farm Broons/Biterne-Sud. The buyer is a company managed by London-based Octopus Renewables.

The park is located in the Côtes d'Armor department in northeastern Brittany and consists of six Enercon E-92 turbines with a capacity of 14.1 MW.

Since May 2017, Ocotpus Renewables has enabled institutional investors to make nearly one billion pounds of sustainable investments in renewable energy assets, Energiequelle points out.

Octopus Renewables is a specialist renewable energy investor. Founded in 2010, the company's mission is to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy future. Octopus Renewables has a diversified portfolio of assets with a capacity of over 3 GW in 9 countries.

Energiequelle GmbH has been active internationally since 1997 as a project developer and operator of wind energy, biomass and photovoltaic plants as well as substations and storage facilities. The company is headquartered in Kallinchen near Berlin, with further locations in Bremen, Oldenburg, Hanover, Putlitz, Penzing and Erfurt, among others. The company employs more than 300 people and, according to its own information, has built more than 750 plants with a total output of around 1,400 MW.
