JUWI Gets Bigger: Juwi And Windwärts Join Forces For Even More Good Energy

Wörrstadt, Germany - Juwi and Windwärts are among the pioneers of wind energy project developers in Germany. Under the umbrella of MVV Energie AG, Juwi and Windwärts previously operated independently, but that is changing.

From now on, the two companies will operate jointly under the name JUWI - in capital letters - with a new brand identity. With the entry in the Commercial Register at the Mainz District Court, the change in legal form of juwi AG to JUWI GmbH was also completed. The three previous board members Carsten Bovenschen (CEO and CFO), Christian Arnold (COO national operations) and Stephan Hansen (COO international operations) will lead the new GmbH as managing directors. There were no changes to the shareholder structure.

"As a result of the EU Green Deal and the new climate neutrality targets set by politicians in Germany and many key international markets, the conditions for renewable energies have further improved over the past few months", says Carsten Bovenschen, CEO of JUWI GmbH. "JUWI is a company with outstanding prospects that will play a pioneering role in the upcoming energy transition."

The more than 6,000 megawatts of wind and solar energy capacity installed worldwide underscore this motivation, experience and competence. In the area of operational management, the company currently manages wind energy and photovoltaic plants with a capacity of more than 4,100 megawatts.
