Prof. Claudia Kemfert Guest Speaker: Energiequelle Celebrates 25th Company Anniversary

Kallinchen, Germany - Energiequelle GmbH was founded in 1997 by Michael and Doreen Raschemann and Joachim Uecker. Now the company looks back on a successful 25-year company history.

The anniversary was celebrated in Feldheim, Brandenburg, with almost 900 guests. The anniversary, which has already officially taken place on October 22, 2022, was celebrated in Feldheim because this is where the first of the more than 850 wind turbines that have been installed to date were erected 25 years ago. Furthermore, Feldheim is the most important milestone in the history of the family-owned company. It was here that Energiequelle created Germany's first energy self-sufficient village, which today attracts visitors from all over the world and is considered a role model for the energy transition.

As guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Claudia Kemfert offered her congratulations and described Energiequelle as the "MacGyver of the energy transition".

Today, Energiequelle is active with more than 400 employees at 21 locations in Germany, France, Finland and Poland and has connected more than 1,600 MW of installed capacity to the grid. The signs are pointing to growth. Several site openings and more than 100 new hires are planned for this year 2023.
