Q1 FY25 Quarterly Figures: Suzlon Revenue Climbs 50 Percent, Ebitda Surges, Net Profit up 200 Percent

Pune, India - Suzlon Group, India's largest renewable energy solutions provider, has released its Q1 FY24-25 (April 2024 - March 2025) figures.

In Q1 FY25, the company generated a total revenue of around 20.16 billion rupees (approx. USD 240 million), which represents a growth of 50 percent compared to the same period last year (Q1 24: around 13.48 billion rupees / approx. USD 161 million). EBITDA increased even more significantly to around 3.70 billion rupees (around USD 44 million), which corresponds to an increase of 86 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year (Q1 24: 1.99 billion rupees / around USD 24 million). Net profit for the first quarter amounted to 3.02 billion rupees (around USD 36 million), which is a whopping 200% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year (Q1 24: 1.01 billion rupees / around USD 12 million).

According to Chief Financial Officer Himanshu Mody, the increase in revenue, EBITDA and profit is attributable to an improvement in operating performance with strict cost control. This led to the comprehensive and solid results.

“We are consistently performing in line with our business plan with one of our best Q1 performances in a long time. We continued our strategic focus of strengthening our operational performance across businesses and building the leadership bandwidth. However, our top priority remains timely execution of our robust order book while upholding the highest standards of quality and ESG,” commented Suzlon CEO JP Chalasani on the current first quarter performance.

“Our largest-ever order book of 3.8 GW gives us great visibility for the future. With significant deliveries of our flagship product series, 3.x MW S144 in Q1 FY25, we are in a strong position to service our current order book,” says Suzlon Group Vice Chairman Girish Tanti optimistically about Suzlon's further development.
