Vestas Share Cannot Benefit: Vestas Receives Major Onshore Order From The USA

Aarhaus, Denmark - The Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order from the renewable energy company Invenergy Wind LLC in the USA to supply the wind turbines for the Alle-Catt Wind Energy wind farm.

The order for a total output of 342 MW comprises the delivery of a total of 76 V150-4.5 MW turbines. The wind farm is located on land in Allegany, Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties in the US state of New York.

In addition to the turbine delivery, the order also includes a long-term service agreement. Turbine delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025 and commissioning towards the end of 2026.

The Vetas share is unable to benefit from the order. After a slight increase of 1.2 percent to EUR 14.89 on yesterday's trading day, the share has fallen by 2 percent to EUR 14.60 in today's trading (15:40, 03.12.2024, Stuttgart Stock Exchange).
