REpower Systems AG establishes subsidiary for German wind energy market

Hamburg, Germany

REpower Systems GmbH would bundle sales, project management and service of onshore wind turbines in Germany and Austria according to the company. Around 200 employees in these and other areas would transfer from the AG to the new company.

REpower Systems GmbH would be a fully owned subsidiary of REpower Systems AG, with a structure similar to the foreign subsidiaries of the Group. The restructuring is a response to the strong growth of the company and its increasing internationalization, says REpower. Jens M
