Wind Market Croatia: Wpd Windmanager and Utility KELAG Expand Cooperation

Bremen, Germany / Dubrovnik, Croatia - In 2019, Wpd Windmanager took over the wind farm management for the Jasenice wind farm, the first Croatian wind energy project of the Austrian utility KELAG.

With the Orjak wind farm, which has now been added, the KELAG Group and the operational management specialist from Bremen are expanding their cooperation. The Orjak wind farm, located near Split, consists of five Senvion MM92 turbines with a total capacity of 10.25 MW.

"Over the past two years, we have already worked very closely with wpd windmanager in Croatia. With their excellent network and expertise, it was obvious for us to further build on this good partnership," said David Huber, Managing Director of Orjak Wind Farm and responsible for KELAG's international renewable energy portfolio.

With offices in Dubrovnik and Šibenik, Wpd Windmanager is one of the market leaders in Croatia and is now responsible for a total capacity of 113 MW here. "We want to grow steadily in the Croatian market. That's why we are of course very pleased about the trust and the expansion of our collaboration," says Marijana Bari?evi?, Managing Director of Wpd Windmanager Croatia about the new project.

WPD Windmanager GmbH & Co. KG currently manages 528 wind farms with 2,550 wind turbines, 108 solar farms and a total capacity of 5,631 megawatts.
