On Course For Growth: Deutsche Windtechnik Since October With 2,000 employees

Bremen, Germany - The full-service provider for wind turbines Deutsche Windtechnik AG has been on a sustained growth course for years.

In addition to the successful business development, which has again been positive in 2021, this also includes a continuous expansion of the workforce.

In particular in the USA, Germany, Spain, but also in the other European countries with Deutsche Windtechnik presences and in Taiwan, more than 150 new colleagues have started work so far this year.

In November 2021, the now global company welcomed its 2,000th employee, Logan Cole, a service technician for Mitsubishi technology. Cole, who came to the company's attention through a good friend already employed by the company, works for Deutsche Windtechnik in the United States.

"Employing qualified, flexible, reliable personnel has been a central factor in our business activities for years. But we also know that the demand for highly qualified personnel cannot be met by the market alone. For this reason, we train many of our employees ourselves and provide further qualification at our training centres, if needed," says Deutsche Windtechnik CEO Matthias Brandt. In day-to-day work, it is not always a matter of working through a standardised checklist. "On the contrary, we are constantly confronted with new challenges that require us to think in a future-oriented way and quickly implement solutions together with our customers. This requires a lot of commitment and flexibility and is reflected in our internal structures, our interactions, and also in the personalities of many of our employees," Brandt continues.

Deutsche Windtechnik AG, headquartered in Bremen, offers the complete package for the technical maintenance of wind turbines from a single source in Europe, the USA and Taiwan. The company operates both onshore and offshore. More than 7,000 wind turbines are serviced worldwide under permanent maintenance contracts (basic and full maintenance). The company's system engineering focuses on Vestas, Siemens, Nordex, Senvion, Fuhrländer, Gamesa, Enercon and GE turbines.
