Repowering Projects: Qualitas Energy Acquires 34 MW Wind Energy Pipeline in Germany

Berlin, Germany - Qualitas Energy is acquiring four wind energy projects in Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt.

As part of a targeted turbine repowering, the total capacity of the wind farms will be increased from the current 10 to 34 MW of wind power output, land use will be optimised and environmentally friendly wind power will be generated for more than 22,000 households in the future.

This repowering follows other projects that the company has announced in recent months, including the acquisition of a wind farm with 32 old wind turbines on the German North Sea coast, which will reach a capacity of 21.6 MW after the repowering.
