PSM Windservice Fully Merged with Deutsche Windtechnik

Bremen, Germany - After the former PSM Nature Power Service & Management GmbH & Co. KG, PSM Windservice GmbH & Co. KG became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Deutsche Windtechnik Group this year, the next step will take place at the turn of the year.

On 01.01.2021, PSM Windservice GmbH & Co. KG will become fully owned by Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service GmbH and cease to exist as an independent company. Deutsche Windtechnik points out that this process is simply a transfer of operations and that all contracts will therefore remain valid and automatically become the responsibility of Deutsche Windtechnik.

In the course of the takeover, the management of PSM Windservice GmbH & Co. KG will also change to some extent: Torsten Stoll will leave the company at the end of the year to take on a new position as the managing director of Wpd Windmanager Erkelenz GmbH & Co. KG. Managing directors Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka will seamlessly continue the business from January.

Both companies have a great deal of experience and know-how, particularly in the areas of turbine maintenance, large component replacement, troubleshooting and the development of retrofits and upgrades. The merger is now just the next logical step under corporate law to combine forces as much as possible and eliminate any duplicate structures, Brandt continues.

Deutsche Windtechnik acquired the service business of PSM Nature Power Service & Management GmbH & Co. KG from Erkelenz in July as part of a restructuring of the company. PSM Nature Power Service & Management GmbH & Co. KG had previously been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wpd Windmanager GmbH & Co. KG from Bremen. In the course of the restructuring, PSM Nature Power Service & Management GmbH & Co. KG became Wpd Windmanager Erkelenz GmbH & Co. KG. At the same time, Deutsche Windtechnik AG acquired the shares in PSM Windservice GmbH & Co. KG, which is responsible for the maintenance and service of wind turbines. The integration of PSM with over 60 employees has created the new Wpd Windmanager competence centre for photovoltaics and continued operation in Erkelenz. The aim is to offer customers operational management for wind farms and also solar farms from a single source, says Ian-Paul Grimble, Managing Director at Wpd Windmanager.
