Stockholm, Sweden - The Swedish OX2 has sold the Ånglarna wind farm to a European utility. The purchase price amounts to SEK 2.7 billion (approx. 230 million euros).

The Ånglarna wind farm will consist of 18 wind turbines and is located in the Swedish province of Falun. OX2 acquired the project rights in May 2019 and the wind farm project was fully approved in February 2023. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2023, with commissioning planned for late 2026. The annual production of the wind farm is estimated at approximately 346 GWh (million kWh).

"We are pleased with the sale of Ånglarna and look forward to the realisation of the project. We are also grateful for the constructive cooperation with local stakeholders that has made this project possible," says Paul Stormoen, CEO of OX2.
