Deutsche Windtechnik Bundles Activities in New Europe Holding Company

Bremen - Deutsche Windtechnik is realigning the company in order to further consolidate its market position. The move is intended to help bring even more clarity and responsibility to the organizational structure of the increasingly internationalized company in the long term.

In future, all European units excluding Germany will be bundled under the umbrella of the new Deutsche Windtechnik Europe GmbH. Carl Rasmus Richardsen will take over as Managing Director.

European unit one of four pillars of the new structure

Deutsche Windtechnik is entering the future with four pillars. These four pillars are the onshore unit in Germany, the offshore unit in Germany, the European unit and the US unit.

Matthias Brandt, CEO of Deutsche Windtechnik: “We are continuously working on making our company future-proof and structurally sustainable. The four pillars will help us to offer our services even more successfully both nationally and internationally. In Europe in particular, we will be able to further consolidate our market position by joining forces. At the same time, the European units within the Group will have an even greater presence. This will also further improve cooperation within the four pillars and with the parent company.”

How the new Deutsche Windtechnik Europe GmbH is positioning itself

The new Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik Europe GmbH is Carl Rasmus Richardsen, who was Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore & Consulting GmbH from 2014 to 2024. Richardsen on the new objective: “We are moving closer together in Europe and taking an even closer look at what makes us stronger together. The European country units will remain operationally autonomous.”

To this end, Deutsche Windtechnik Europe has expanded its international team to include experts from the fields of specific ERP, engineering and management. In this way, Deutsche Windtechnik hopes to jointly identify further potential and leverage synergies.

Richardsen: “The result could be improved mutual support in engineering, for example. What unites us all - across national borders - is our commitment and the high quality of our service.”
