Stable Sales Prices: Nordex Already Increases Order Intake to 5.1 GW in 2024

Hamburg, Germany - Business is booming at the Nordex Group, with the company winning orders for 5,083 MW in the first nine months of 2024. This is an increase of 4 percent compared to the previous year (9M/2023: 4,892 MW) and also represents a new record in the last seven years (since 2018).

The Nordex share has so far gained 3 percent to EUR 13.64 in today's trading.

The average selling price in euros per megawatt of capacity (ASP) remained stable at EUR 0.90 million/MW in the first nine months (9M/2023: EUR 0.85 million/MW).

In the third quarter, Nordex booked orders for 1,726 MW (Q3/2023: 2,251 MW). At the same time, ASP rose to EUR 0.92 million/MW in the third quarter compared with EUR 0.79 million/MW in the same quarter of the previous year.

“Key contributors to this growth were again the German market along with the Baltic states in Europe and the Canadian market in the Americas. We expect to accelerate this momentum going into the final quarter of 2024,” says José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.
