Green Power For The Wind Industry: Nordex Relies on Landstrom For The Energy Supply of Service Points in Germany

Hamburg, Gevensleben / Germany – The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex and the renewable energy supplier Landstrom have entered into a partnership. As of now, 14 service points of Nordex will be supplied with 100 percent green electricity from Landstrom.

The partnership follows an open tender process in which Landstrom was awarded the contract. The goal of the cooperation is to gradually integrate additional Nordex locations and expand the collaboration further.

"As a company that is actively driving the energy transition itself, we also rely on sustainable solutions for the energy supply of our service points", says Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central at the Nordex Group. "This closes the circle: the energy generated by renewables remains in the renewable system and reliably supplies companies like Nordex with green electricity“, adds Bärbel Heidebroek, Managing Director of the Landwind Group.

Landstrom supplies private, commercial, and industrial customers with 100 percent green electricity – from wind, solar, and biogas – and is part of the Landwind Group, which has been planning wind farms and photovoltaic open-field systems with citizen participation for over 20 years.
