Nordex Stock Climbs: Nordex Secures Orders from the UK, Belgium, and France at Quarter-End
Hamburg, Germany – At the end of June, the Nordex Group announced several new orders totaling 135 megawatts (MW) across three key European markets.
In Scotland, a total of 13 turbines are to be installed – six of the type N133/4800 and, for the first time, seven of the model N163/6.X. These turbines have a combined capacity of 75.7 MW. In Belgium, Nordex is also breaking new ground with two turbines of the type N163/5.X: the 11.8 MW wind farm marks the debut of this turbine model in the Belgian market. In France, two customers have ordered a total of seven turbines of the type N149/5.X (39.9 MW) as well as two N117/3600 turbines (7.2 MW).
All projects include maintenance and service contracts with varying durations. Installation is planned to begin from mid-2026, depending on the project.
Project and customer names have not been disclosed.
Nordex shares rose by 3.4 percent by midday in today’s trading to 17.74 euros. Compared to the price at the turn of the year, the stock has recorded a solid gain of around 57 percent.
