Change at the top: Company Announces CEO Change for 2026 - Ronny Meyer to Succeed Matthias Brandt
Bremen (Germany) - Deutsche Windtechnik has announced a planned change at the top of the company: Matthias Brandt will step down from his role as CEO on 31 December 2025 and hand over the position to Ronny Meyer.
Ronny Meyer will assume the role on 1 January 2026. The new CEO brings extensive experience from the energy industry and climate policy, along with strong expertise in renewable energy technologies. “My goal is to preserve the company’s continuity and stability while providing fresh impetus for innovation, ensuring we maintain a strong position and remain future-ready,” Meyer stated.
The transition has been carefully prepared for some time: Brandt will remain with the company until the end of March 2026 to ensure a smooth handover. With this structured process, Deutsche Windtechnik underscores its ambition to remain a reliable and innovative partner to the wind energy sector, the company said.
