Qualitas Opts for Nordex Turbines: Nordex Receives 56 MW Order from Qualitas Energy for Wind Farm in Germany
Hamburg (Germany) – Nordex has secured another order in the German onshore market. According to the Hamburg-based company, Qualitas Energy Germany has ordered eight N163/6.X turbines with a total capacity of 56 MW for the Wippershainer Höhe wind farm.
The project is part of Qualitas Energy Group’s German wind portfolio, which exceeds 3,000 MW (3 GW) across more than 100 projects. “We are delighted to cooperate again with Qualitas Energy Deutschland. This order reflects their trust in our technology and our ability to deliver efficient, economical reliable and future‑oriented technology,” said Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, Director Sales Region Central at Nordex Group.
The partnership is also emphasized from an investor perspective. “The Wippershainer Höhe wind farm is another important milestone in our advanced project pipeline,” explained Borja Caruana, COO of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH. The collaboration confirms the shared belief that “high-performance technology, long-standing experience, and reliable partnerships are crucial to the success of the energy transition.”
According to its own data, the Nordex Group has installed wind turbines with a total capacity of more than 64,000 MW (64 GW) worldwide since 1985. In 2025, the company achieved revenues of around €7.6 billion and employed over 11,100 people.
With a weekly gain of 26.3 percent, Nordex stock topped the renewable energy index RENIXX World last week. It continued to rise on Monday, but in yesterday’s trading, the stock came under pressure, like almost all other RENIXX titles, due to the Iran conflict. The share fell 4.9 percent to €41.10 (closing price, March 3, 2026, Stuttgart Stock Exchange).
