Nordex Secures Orders from Turkey and Germany at the End of the Quarter - Nordex Stock Among Top 3 in Renixx in Q1
Hamburg (Germany) - The Nordex Group continued its ongoing streak of orders at the end of March 2026 with two new wind energy contracts totaling 160 MW from Turkey and Germany. Following a strong performance in the first quarter of 2026, the company’s stock is among the top three performers in the RENIXX.
Nordex receives 120 MW order in Turkey
In Turkey, Balıkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satış A.Ş., a subsidiary of Efor Holding, has commissioned the delivery and installation of 18 N175/6.X wind turbines with a total capacity of 120 MW for the R25-Balıkesir-2 wind farm. The turbines will be supplied in a cold climate version and installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters. Installation of the first turbine is expected to begin in March 2027, with commissioning scheduled for August 2027. Nordex will also provide a ten-year premium service for the turbines.

Nordex expands wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein by a further 40 MW
In Germany, Nordex received an order from NeXtWind Management GmbH for 39.9 MW for the repowering of the Lütau 2 wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein. Seven N149/5.X turbines on 125-meter towers are to be installed in spring 2027 and are expected to be commissioned in summer 2027. Following the expansion, the total capacity of the site will increase to 68.4 MW. NeXtWind, based in Berlin and London, focuses on the acquisition and optimization of existing wind farms (repowering). The company currently operates more than 37 sites with a capacity of 500 MW and has a repowering pipeline of 2 GW. Expansion to a total generation capacity of 3 GW is planned by 2028.
Stock among top RENIXX performers in the first quarter
Nordex shares, listed in the renewable energy stock index RENIXX World, rose by 57.8% to EUR 46.06 in the first quarter of 2026. This places Nordex among the top three performers in the RENIXX. The share price declined slightly during the first two trading days in April but then rebounded. It is currently trading at EUR 45.80.
