Third Wind Farm Transaction in the Current Year: UKA Sells Vietlübbe Wind Farm with 80 MW

Meißen (Germany) – Renewable energy project developer UKA has sold the Vietlübbe wind farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, completing its third transaction of the current year. The wind farm comprises 14 wind turbines with a total capacity of around 80 MW and was fully commissioned in November 2025.

Previously, UKA had already sold the Görzig and Niederasphe wind farms, which together have a capacity of around 48 MW. According to the company, the three wind farms sold this year can collectively supply electricity equivalent to more than 100,000 three-person households.

UKA manager Stefan Kath stated that the successful execution of several large-scale transactions highlights the company’s strong implementation capabilities even in challenging market conditions.

In parallel, UKA is preparing further sales. Six additional wind energy projects with a combined capacity of around 326 MW in Germany are currently in the sales tender process. These projects are scheduled to be commissioned by early 2027 at the latest.

Overall, the UKA Group currently has wind energy projects with a total capacity of around 1.6 GW under construction, according to its own statements.
