Esmera Partners Advises on Sale of Onshore Wind Farm with Repowering Prospect

Grünwald/Konstanz – Renewable energy M&A advisory firm Esmera Partners has advised a German utility on the sale of an existing onshore wind farm in Germany. The transaction covers the ongoing operation of the wind farm as well as the prospect of a future repowering of the site.

According to the company, the wind farm has a long operating history and existing grid infrastructure. Esmera Partners did not disclose the buyer, seller, location, installed capacity or purchase price.

Esmera Partners supported the sales process from outreach to strategic and financial investors through due diligence and the bidding process to closing.

Esmera Partners was founded in 2017 and specialises in M&A transactions and financing in the renewable energy and cleantech sectors. According to the company, it has worked on more than 96 M&A and financing transactions since its founding. Its services include advising buyers and sellers on corporate and project transactions, as well as structuring and arranging financing.
