Wind Market France: Energiequelle Subsidiary P&T Technologie Commissions Saint-Morand Wind Farm
Saint-Morand/France - P&T Technologie, Energiequelle's French subsidiary, has commissioned the Saint-Morand wind farm.
The wind farm, with a total capacity of 9.4 MW, use four Enercon E-103 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.35 MW.
"With this project, we are increasing our commitment in the region, which is further strengthened by our cooperation with FEEOLE since 2012 within the framework of the Énergie des Fées citizens' project", said Matthieu Le Drévo, technical director at P&T, welcoming the successful commissioning and partnership with Roche aux Fées Communauté.
The official inauguration of the Saint-Morand wind farm is scheduled for September. The Saint-Morand wind farm will become self-operated and is P&T's 27th wind farm in France. It increases the total installed capacity there to a total of 280 MW.
According to Windpower Europe, wind turbines with a capacity of around 21,140 MW isntalled in France at the end of 2022. In addition to onshore turbines with a capacity of around 1,600 MW newly installed in 2022, this includes "Saint Nazaire", France's first commercial offshore wind project, which was connected to the grid last year in 2022.
