Nordex and Denker Wulf Continue Cooperation: New Wind Power Order for Nordex in Schleswig-Holstein

Hamburg – Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received an order from project developer Denker Wulf for nine wind turbines with a total capacity of 51.3 MW. The turbines are intended for the Bredenbek Wind Farm in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein.

The project will use N149/5.X turbines, each with a capacity of 5.7 MW and a hub height of 105 metres. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2027, with the first turbine due to start operations in December 2027. The order also includes a 20-year premium service contract.

The project continues the cooperation between Nordex and Denker Wulf. As early as November 2025, Nordex had received orders totalling 122.7 MW from the developer for three other wind farms in Schleswig-Holstein. Together with Bredenbek, the orders reported in November 2025 and October 2026 add up to 174 MW.

Nordex shares, which are listed in the RENIXX World renewable energy stock index, gained 6.2 percent over the first four trading days of this week, closing at EUR 38.54 on Thursday (closing price on October 23, 2026: EUR 36.28). Since the start of the year, the share price has risen 32.1 percent.

According to a recent IWR analysis of the Market Master Data Register of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), a total of 110 new onshore wind turbines with a capacity of 595.5 MW were commissioned in Schleswig-Holstein from January to September 2026. At the same time, 58 turbines with a combined 83.8 MW were dismantled, resulting in net capacity growth of 511.7 MW. Gross additions for full-year 2025 stood at 803.5 MW. In terms of gross additions, Schleswig-Holstein ranks third among the federal states in the first nine months of 2026, behind North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.
